Professional History
Mr. Foster originally joined the firm in 2011 and worked until 2015 as a part-time legal assistant in our Victoria office while he was in college. After a brief hiatus, he rejoined the firm as the office manager of our Farmville office and continued as a law clerk when he began law school in 2018. He was admitted to the Virginia State Bar as an attorney in October 2021. In addition to being an attorney, he serves as the Assistant Director of Information Technology at Hawthorne & Hawthorne.
Mr. Foster obtained his law degree from the Liberty University School of Law in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2021, where he concentrated in advocacy, criminal justice, and trial advocacy. While in law school, Mr. Foster was also a member of the trial team and was a student representative for LexisNexis.
Mr. Foster is originally from Lunenburg County and graduated from Central Senior High School in Victoria, Virginia in 2011. He pursued undergraduate studies at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia, where he graduated with a B.S. in Criminology and a minor in Cybersecurity, Forensics, and Policy in 2015. As a part of his undergraduate studies, he was selected as an IT Lab Fellow in 2014 and spent a summer at the Heinz College at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he took several graduate-level courses in information technology.

Community Involvement and Personal Interests
In his spare time, you will most likely find Mr. Foster hanging out with his Goldendoodle, Piper. He enjoys watching crime shows and documentaries. He is a history buff and enjoys visiting national monuments and historical sites. Mr. Foster is also interested in grilling, music, and politics.
Mr. Foster resides in Lunenburg County, Virginia.
Office Location
Mr. Foster maintains regular office hours in the Victoria, Kenbridge, and Farmville offices, although he may be available to meet in other locations upon request.
